Happy Easter!

Even though I posted this Easter blog after the holiday, I’d like to note some favorite scriptures to remind us all what Easter is truly about:

John 11:25-26
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.  Do you believe this?”

And another favorite:

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Easter weekend at the 80 was a busy one that ended in worship for this special holiday and finally a short moment to rest after it all.  So thankful to all our family for lending a hand and giving their time to come help us move the last of our furniture and things from the old house on Saturday.  The latest addition to the place, was the purchase of a 40 foot shipping container to store our possessions.

"Big Bertha", is what we call it.  It’s been very handy.
The dirt pad is ready for the barn and house.  So we are looking forward to getting the barn up soon while we continue to get the house plans just right.

In the meantime, April is now here, and we are blazing our new trail, as we cut the fence on the west side of the 80 to begin the new driveway.

Dad pushed the dirt to make way.  Now the old mailbox that is just waiting to have a “home” and a driveway to go with it.

Hopefully the wind will die down soon so our barn builders can finish their current project, and head our way to start on our barn soon!
